When Will My Order Arrive?
For Aus, Canada, UK and NZ we ship from our international distribution centre, please allow 5-12 business days for delivery. For US we have a distribution center in Salt Lake, delivery should happen within 4-7 days. We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver your books securely.
Tracking
You'll receive an email with your tracking number once your order is fulfilled. Please note tracking updates become active when your package reaches your destination country and is processed by your local postal services.
About Our Shipping
As a small business, we subsidise shipping costs to keep books affordable—the charge at checkout covers only part of international postage. Orders over $80 AUD (or local currency equivalent) qualify for free shipping. We pay our fulfilment and postal workers fairly through ethical supply chains, which means we can't offer free overnight, but your purchase supports fair wages and small business sustainability.
Returns Policy
We really believe in these books! If you're not happy with your books or cards, we will happily accept returns as long as the items are in brand new condition and you reach out within 14 days of receiving your books.
Please note that customers are responsible for return postage costs, to either our US Warehouse or our Australian Returns address, as we're a small independent business. To arrange a return, please email us with your order number and we will organise a returns form for you. More detailed information about returns can be found below.
Are the Books Ethically Created & Distributed?
Creation: The books were written based on Orlanda's psychology background, decade of teaching experience and her mental health journey. The illustrations are a combination of digital watercolour drawing, image generation (trained on paid and licensed images) and through independent illustrators.
Printing: We use a small international printing company that aligns with our values. Julie and her team are wonderful. The books are created with quality matte art paper, perfect binding with sewn spines and offset printing.
Discounts/Support Options
Our goal is to make these resources accessible to all children. If your child is on the NDIS, you're experiencing financial hardship or need support ordering the books, please contact us about available discounts and support options.

Returns Policy
We truly believe in our resources. If you're not completely happy with your order, we want to make it right.
Eligibility
For change-of-mind returns, items must be unused and in brand new condition. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, and return the item within a further 14 days of notifying us.
For items that arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. There is no strict time limit for faulty goods under most consumer laws and we will always work to resolve this for you.
Return Postage
For faulty, damaged, or incorrectly described items, we will cover all return postage costs. For change-of-mind returns, postage is at the customer's expense as we are a small independent business.
How to Arrange a Return
Email us at hello@mybrainbooks.com with your order number and reason for return. We will get back to you within 2 business days with a returns form and confirmed return address.
Where to Send Your Return:
US customers: Please return your items to our US warehouse. Contact us with your order number and we will provide the warehouse address and a returns form.
All other customers (including Australia, New Zealand, UK and International): Please return your items to our Australian returns address. Contact us with your order number and we will confirm the correct address and send you a returns form. Please be aware that international return postage can be significant, so please reach out first as we may be able to find a better solution depending on your situation.
Refunds
Once your return is received and found to be in new condition, your refund will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
Exclusions
Digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and applicable US federal and state consumer protection laws.
