I haven't used the book yet, however, am looking forward to exploring with my new class soon.
Excellent for ALL ages to better understand this part of our brain! Have used it for adult and child for personal and therapy use!
My kids love this book and has given us helpful language to acknowledge when we’ve become dysregulated in an unshaming way. My 7 year old son said to me last night, “sorry for how I reacted (when I said no more Nintendo switch time - my amygdala went toa 4) and this is the kind of generational wealth i want to accumulate. Thank you.
We love the cute book and cards that go with it.They have helped me and my daughter connect and work on having a growth mindset. Wondering if there’s one for a child that has ADD.
