Psychology & Education

Orlanda's began her journey with psychology studies at Macquarie University, where she discovered a passion for childhood development, leading her to pursue additional qualifications in Primary Education. She has since been teaching on Sydney's Northern Beaches for over a decade.

The Beginning of My Brain Books

In 2024, she launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the publication of the My Brain Book Series. Since its launch, it has become a trusted resource for parents, educators, OTs, counsellors and psychologists around the world.

The Goal

Through the My Brain Book Series, we are delivering accessible evidence-based strategies that bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and everyday application. These resources are used for children across diverse needs—helping those with Anxiety, Autism, ADHD, as well as neurotypical children, to develop essential mental health skills.

The MBB Team

We are a small team, that share the same values and want to see meaningful change. All of our lives have been touched by mental health and it is an area we are all passionate about.
