High quality and great illustrations!
I've bought a few books about processing emotions for kids in the past but this is the first set that feels useful in the real world. My kids like to know what is happening so learning about the parts of the brain and the processes that are happening has been great.
I used this with a kinder child and after one OT session with an abridged version of the book (had to get to the point quickly), he was able to remember and relate to what the books say. He did tell his mum however, that he was going to turn the amygdala off (he can be gentle and suddenly unruly, he is struggling to find his balance).
Brought for my grandson's for Xmas so will see how they go, l like them after reading some of them.
These are the most beautiful books and the way of explaining things. I read these to my kids most nights
